The Heart of the Matter.

Karah works with individuals and groups, creating space for honest reflection and personal revelation. Her gentle humor and straightforward challenges help leaders uncover what’s moving them forward and what’s holding them back.

Karah earned her Masters in Counseling from Fort Hayes University and her Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.

Prior to joining Vail Centre, Karah helped found EQmentor, an online community for mentoringwith emotional intelligence, where she served as chief knowledge officer, creating training materials, coordinating certification programs and hosting chat sessions. She was also Master Mentor, supporting over 200 mentors in the EQmentor network.

As a Program Facilitator at Vail Centre, Karah works closely with the Centre’s Roundtable members, leading monthly executive learning sessions and annual retreats. The impact she creates with her groups has helped the Centre expand the program throughout Colorado and enhance the leadership curriculum.

Karah also plays a key role in her husband David’s dental practice, designing its culture through patient relations and employee development. She is co-creator of the Relentless Dentist Podcast.

Karah and David traveled extensively with the US Army, spending time in the Carolinas, Germany and Italy before they settled in the Vail Valley and welcomed their son Bennett to the world. Her family loves living and playing in the Rocky Mountains.
