Impact. Knowledge. Progress
Colleen’s unique background in higher education, development, and corporate event planning allow her to infuse both knowledge and creativity in everything she does. Combined with her leadership experience and her Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University, Colleen brings a passion for growing and investing in organizations that lead to great change in the world.
Starting in Chicago, Colleen worked for an international consulting company that specialized in translation, interpretation, and cultural consulting projects. After many years spent in the Midwest, however, Colleen heard the mountains calling and moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
In Jackson Hole, she worked in a variety of creative industries before finding her way to corporate event planning. After showcasing success with a variety of corporate clients that venture to Jackson Hole for investors meetings, incentive trips, and board retreats, Colleen’s organization became the preferred in-house partner of the Four Seasons Jackson Hole.
Wanting to expand her expertise in high-end client relations and education, Colleen moved to Washington, D. C. And became a development officer at Georgetown University. At Georgetown, she worked both as a regional major gift officer in the Southeast and then developed and led the overall development strategy for the McDonough School of Business MBA and Executive programs.
Missing the joys of living in the mountains, Colleen and her family moved to move to Vail. She is thrilled to be part of the Vail Centre as it creates a lasting impact on the community and the region. It also brings together her passion for higher education and her experience as a development officer.
Along with her Master’s at Georgetown University, Colleen received her B.A. from University of Michigan and has spent time doing non-profit consulting in South Africa. She and her husband seek to raise their daughter to be a steward of the wonderful Vail Valley, an avid and curious learner, and a strong determined leader.
