In partnership with Duke University and the Nonprofit Management Program of the Duke Office of Continuing Studies, the Vail Centre is proud to bring the multi-day, Nonprofit Intensive Track Certificate to Vail, Colorado.
Leadership In Action
With 1,548,644 tax-exempt organizations across the States, including over 19,000 in the State of Colorado, this certificate program takes to heart mission-based organization empowers them to create social impact by exploring professional & organizational development.
Nonprofits occupy a unique position in the organizational landscape of the United States. Although many of the fundamental principles and practices of effective management and leadership apply across all sectors and forms of organization, nonprofit professionals face a distinctive set of opportunities and challenges in comparison with their counterparts in the business and government sectors.

The Duke Nonprofit Management Program
Nonprofit organizations provide vital services that markedly contribute to the health of our communities. The goal of the Nonprofit Management Program Is to ensure that these vital services continue to grow in scope and quality. The Program has proven that pursuit of the Certificate results in better-managed nonprofits that translate into more vigorous communities.
The program, a unit of the Duke Office of Continuing Studies, addresses the sustainability and impact of nonprofit organization employees and volunteers. It also provides affordable, practical and accessible training to those working in the nonprofit sector.
The Vail Centre
We design interactive learning experiences that bring together great thinkers and doers, state and local groups, university and educational partners and renowned experts from around the world. Here, individuals and organizations convene on an inspirational mountain campus delving into academic ideas and real world challenges, creating meaningful connections and life-long friendships.
